Use UltraPoint from Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor

UltraPoint runs an MCP server at https://mcp.ultrapoint.ai. Claude.ai and ChatGPT connect via OAuth with no API key; Cursor, Claude Code, Claude Desktop, and Windsurf authenticate with an up_live_ API key. Decks generated from a chat land in your UltraPoint workspace as editable, exportable files.

Connect from Claude.ai or ChatGPT (no API key)

• Add the connector. Claude.ai: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. ChatGPT: Settings → Connectors → Create. Name it UltraPoint, server URL https://mcp.ultrapoint.ai, leave OAuth Client ID/Secret empty.
• Connect the account. Click Connect, sign in with your UltraPoint account, and authorize.
• Ask for slides. In a new chat with the connector enabled: "Use UltraPoint to create a 5-slide deck on our Q3 results."

Custom connectors require a paid Claude or ChatGPT plan.

Connect from Cursor, Claude Code, Claude Desktop, or Windsurf

Create an up_live_ API key in your workspace's developer settings, then point the client at https://mcp.ultrapoint.ai with an Authorization: Bearer header. Exact config snippets for each client are in the full MCP documentation (markdown).

Credits

Generation spends credits from the workspace that owns the connection, exactly like the in-app builder: 20 credits per standard-quality slide, 155 for high quality, 15 per edited slide. Everything the assistant creates also appears in your UltraPoint library.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an API key to use UltraPoint from Claude or ChatGPT?

No — both connect via OAuth: add https://mcp.ultrapoint.ai as a custom connector and sign in with your UltraPoint account. API keys are only for developer clients like Cursor, Claude Code, and Windsurf.

Where do generated decks go?

Into your UltraPoint workspace library, exactly as if you had used the in-app builder — editable in the browser and exportable as native PPTX.

What does generation cost over MCP?

The same as in-app: 20 credits per standard-quality slide (155 high quality), spent from the connected workspace's plan. Listing and reading decks is free.

Which MCP clients are supported?
